I designed a watercolor master class that is a thoughtful, high-quality, and heartfelt experience - exactly what I would want as an artist and what you deserve too.
Why?
My goal is simple: come with your hands in your pockets and leave with a masterpiece, a good mood and satisfaction, as if you had accomplished something extraordinary. Plus, with the feeling that you had a great time in good company and in a beautiful location.
Getting on the wave and making friends with watercolor
I will help you get on the wave, get acquainted with watercolor as an independent medium and get a genuine painting experience, which is not just copying the teacher's movements step by step, but expressing your own idea based on the properties of watercolor. I will show you the true face of watercolor and introduce you to its rules of the game, so that you can elegantly break them.
They often say about watercolor: delicate, frivolous, complex, frivolous, and last but not least, it doesn't last long... But I'll show you the opposite! I'll help you become friends with it.
My method and philosophy
I have been painting all my life, studying art in schools and in recent years attending numerous courses, festivals and art events. Based on my experience, I developed my own method, because I saw and tried all these “pros and cons”.
I teach in a small group, up to 5 people, so that I can engage with everyone and at the same time be able to chat with the whole group - so that each participant gets attention, time, and space to express themselves.
I do have a plan, but I adapt it as the workshop progresses – just like watercolor – it’s the skill of gracefully and triumphantly emerging from situations. Trust me, when you master watercolor, you also master the flow of life, new connections are made, and the ability to think in multiple directions and on different levels develops.
The best tools
Materials and their feel are extremely important. I will give you all the best artist-grade watercolor tools that I use myself and that are used by recognized watercolor masters today. A watercolor painting made with quality materials will last for centuries!
- Paper: 100% cold pressed cotton
- Paints: Artist grade paints (Sennelier, Daniel Smith, Winsor&Newton)
- Brushes: From recognized manufacturers (Escoda, DaVinci, Raffael)
- Even the tape is specially designed for watercolor and much more
Details create the whole. For me, it's important that everything is high-quality, well-thought-out, and heartfelt.
Paintings created in the studio are worth immediately framing and even displaying at an exhibition.
Come and we'll do it together!
